McGuinty Government Leads Auto Delegation, Strengthens Economic Ties

Ontario's specialist auto sector machine, tool, die and mould companies are showcasing their skills in Mexico this week, as part of a delegation led by the province.

The delegates' week-long program includes one-on-one meetings with Mexico-based auto assemblers and parts companies.

Minister Pupatello will join the delegation for two days during which she will participate in an auto industry roundtable and sign collaboration agreements with Mexico State, Nuevo León and Coahuila.

The agreements will enhance economic and business cooperation with each of these states which share Ontario's concentration of automotive and advanced manufacturing.
