McGuinty Government Supports Job Creation At Trillium Health Care Products

Ontario is helping an eastern Ontario manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and personal care products introduce a new product line and upgrade its packaging equipment.

The province is investing $458,562 in Trillium Health Care Products of Brockville, through the Eastern Ontario Development Fund to introduce the new product line, which will allow the company to diversify and attract new customers.  Trillium produces tablets, ointments and capsules for several pharmaceutical companies.  The provincial funding is part of a total investment by the company of more than $3 million and will create 15 new jobs over the next three years.

Partnering with business is a key component of the Ontario government's five-point economic plan to grow the economy.
