Ontario is helping London to position its manufacturing industry as a destination for European manufacturing, and create jobs.
The province is investing $497,000 in the London Economic Development Corporation for three initiatives to help secure direct European investment in the region's manufacturing sector. The funding will be used to:
The new equipment at Brose's London facility will lead to the immediate creation of 10 new advanced manufacturing jobs with significant job creation potential in the future.
Funding is being provided under the Communities in Transition program which supports economic development projects that will help communities in Ontario attract new investments and retain existing businesses.
