McGuinty Government Helps Community Prepare For Future Investment
The Municipality of Neebing is promoting economic development by marketing itself to new investors.
Through the support of the Northern Communities Investment Readiness Program (NCIR) the community is:

- Producing a comprehensive inventory of industrial and commercial land assets;
- Developing a community profile for posting on the internet.
- Training municipal staff and other local stakeholders to identify investment opportunities and respond to potential international investors.
Quick Facts
- The province is providing $14,625 through the NCIR program to support these projects.
- To date, more than $1.9 million in NCIR funding has been approved for more than 200 initiatives across the North.
