McGuinty Government Helping Create Jobs, Boost Local Economy
A new Discovery Centre in Elliot Lake will promote the community's retirement living and tourism programs to help spur economic growth and create future jobs for the area.
Elliot Lake Retirement Living will design and build the centre that will house displays, promotional materials and interactive kiosks. This will showcase Elliot Lake and the region as an ideal place to live, work and invest.
The Discovery Centre is part of a larger Community Marketing Centre project scheduled for completion this spring. Five full-time jobs are expected to be created at the new centre.
