McGuinty Government Lays Foundations For Future Growth

Grassy Narrows First Nation is identifying investment opportunities that will create new jobs and grow the local economy.

With support from the Northern Communities Investment Readiness (NCIR) initiative, the community will identify its economic strengths and resources while investigating areas in need of improvement. It will also promote its advantages through a new online community profile and a marketing strategy. Together, these initiatives will help Grassy Narrows improve its ability to respond to investment opportunities, attract new businesses and create jobs.

Strengthening local economies is part of the McGuinty government's plan to create good jobs for families in the face of global economic uncertainty.

QUICK FACTS
