McGuinty Government Strengthening Northern Economy, Creating Jobs

Ontario is helping to build a stronger and more diverse northern economy while creating 19 jobs in the Timmins-James Bay area.
Through its Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), the province is helping nine entrepreneurs boost the local economy by expanding their operations, launching new businesses and creating new jobs.
Investing in Northern Ontario businesses is part of the McGuinty government's Growth Plan for Northern Ontario. A strong northern economy creates local jobs and protects the services that mean the most to families -- health care and education.
