New Ad Campaign for H1N1 vaccination

The ministry is launching a new province-wide advertising campaign to encourage people in the priority groups to get their H1N1 flu shot.

The campaign begins on Oct. 24 and will continue for the next three weeks. The campaign features print, radio and online advertising:

• Radio - 57 English markets, 7 French markets, 19 ethnic languages and the aboriginal communities,
• Newspaper - 43 English publications, 25 French weeklies,
• Online on a variety of websites

Ontario has mailed two brochures to every household in Ontario. The brochures provide information on the flu season including tips to stay healthy and details of Ontario's vaccine rollout strategy.
