BFG Canada Ltd. Receives Ontario Food Exporter Award

BFG Canada Ltd. received the first-ever Ontario Food Exporter Award during last evening's Canadian Agri-Food Export Gala in Toronto.
BFG produces more than 50 varieties of crackers, including whole wheat, whole grain, cheese and multigrain, as well as a variety of organic, low-calorie and kosher products. Over the past twenty years, the organization seen tremendous growth in its international customer base and now exports products to retailers in North America, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Australia and South Africa.
This new award recognizes creativity, excellence, and success in marketing and selling their products internationally and was presented as part of SIAL Canada, an international food industry tradeshow. This is Ontario's first time hosting the flagship industry event.
- BFG Canada Ltd. has plants in Georgetown and Kitchener. Both plants have received British Retail Consortium certification, the highest globally-recognized food safety accreditation.
