Premier McGuinty Joins Ceremony Of Remembrance At Queen's Park

Ontarians from all walks of life gathered together today at Queen's Park for Ontario's Remembrance Day ceremony.

Premier Dalton McGuinty joined Brigadier-General F.A. Lewis and Major-General Richard Rohmer (Retired) to reflect on the sacrifices of our veterans and of all Canadian soldiers who gave their lives in service to our country.

Veterans, members of the Canadian Forces, cadets and Silver Cross Mother, Maureen Eykelenboom took part in the ceremony by laying wreaths on the Veterans' Memorial. The ceremony also included a 21-gun salute performed by the 7th Toronto Regiment, a youth pledge, and a reading of In Flanders Fields.

QUICK FACTS
