Jobs And Economy Are Top Priority, McGuinty Says

Premier Dalton McGuinty said today the top priority for Ontario's government is creating jobs and boosting the economy.

The Premier also noted that even in the midst of a global economic storm, Ontario is a safer haven than most thanks to our highly skilled and educated workforce, our strong health care system and investments in infrastructure that have kept our economy moving.

"Ontario families are looking to their leaders to work together, for them. It's going to take all of us working together to move forward in a time of significant change, upheaval and uncertainty around the world. As we face fiscal challenges in Ontario, we will look for solutions that will help us achieve our long-term goals to balance our budget and deliver the programs and services Ontarians need."
