McGuinty Government Building Strong Economy, Creating Good Jobs For Families

Ontario's digital economy is growing and creating the next generation of jobs for families.

Premier Dalton McGuinty toured Xtreme Labs in Toronto today, a company that develops mobile applications for smart phones and digital tablets. The Premier spoke with employees about his government's plan to eliminate the deficit and continue improving Ontario's competitiveness. Steady, relentless progress will lead to more jobs, a stronger economy and even better public services.

The Premier also thanked the company for helping to grow Ontario's digital economy. Xtreme Labs also created Extreme Venture Partners, a company that funds and mentors technology start-ups.

Fostering innovation and creating the right environment for businesses to thrive is part of the McGuinty government's plan to strengthen Ontario's economy and create good jobs for families.
