Ontario Supports Skills And Knowledge Infrastructure

Investing in the knowledge and skills of Ontarians is a cornerstone of the government's plan to strengthen the economy.
As part of this plan, Ontario and Canada are providing about $1.6 billion in joint funding for 49 postsecondary infrastructure projects through the federal Knowledge Infrastructure Program (KIP) and the 2009 Ontario budget.
Ontario is
also providing an additional $55 million through a new Strategic Capital Infrastructure
Program to colleges and universities that did not receive funding through KIP.
