Media advisory - Ontario government to give progress report on Summer Jobs program

TORONTO, Aug. 21 /CNW/ - Dianne Cunningham, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, will give an update on the number of students finding work through Ontario Summer Jobs, 2001 - the provincial government's commitment to help students find work or create their own job during the summer.
Cunningham will make the announcement at the Harbourfront Community Centre. Following the announcement the Minister will meet with students employed by the City of Toronto's graffiti transformation project thanks to Ontario Summer Jobs, and will see how the young artists are transforming walls defaced with graffiti into colourful murals.
