TORONTO, Nov. 10 - The Hon. James K. Bartleman will take part in two events in Toronto to honour war veterans on Remembrance Day. Media are invited to these photo opportunities. 10:55 AM CIVIC REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY Cenotaph at Old City Hall, Queen and Bay streets, Toronto As The Queen's representative in Ontario, the Lieutenant Governor will speak briefly, lay a wreath on behalf of the people of Ontario, review a March Past of World War II veterans, and attend a reception for veterans in the City Hall Rotunda. 7:00 PM VICTORIA CROSS PLAQUE DEDICATION Ukrainian National Federation Hall, 145 Evans Avenue, Toronto The Lieutenant Governor will speak briefly and dedicate a plaque to honour the late Filip Konowal, a Ukrainian Canadian Acting Corporal with 47th Battalion who won the Victoria Cross for valour in World War I. In 2002 Mr Bartleman marked Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph at Toronto's Old City Hall.
