Media Advisory - Portrait of the Hon. Hilary Weston to be unveiled at Queen's Park

TORONTO, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - The Hon. James K. Bartleman will host a ceremony to unveil the official portrait of the Hon. Hilary M. Weston - Ontario's 26th Lieutenant Governor - at Queen's Park at 5:00 PM on Monday 22 November. Mrs Weston served as The Queen's representative in Ontario from 1997 to 2002 and is widely credited with bringing a more contemporary approach to the role. Traditionally, a portrait of each Lieutenant Governor is commissioned at the end of their term. Mrs Weston's portrait was painted by the distinguished Toronto-based artist, Ms Brenda Bury.
