TRH The Earl & Countess of Wessex to visit Ontario in June
TORONTO, April 15 /CNW/ - The Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Earl & Countess of Wessex will undertake a working visit to Ontario from June 3 to June 8, 2005.
As part of a nine-day visit to Canada that will include the four Atlantic provinces, Their Royal Highnesses will visit seven communities in Ontario over five days. Their Royal Highnesses are visiting on behalf of some twenty community organizations, the primary host being The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
While in Ontario, His Royal Highness will visit Toronto, Belleville, Quinte West, Peterborough and Waterloo. Her Royal Highness will visit Toronto, St Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Their activities in Ontario will range from visiting Canadian Forces Reserve regiments to presenting Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Awards to over 200 young Canadians.
The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Hon. James K. Bartleman, will receive Their Royal Highnesses at Queen's Park on Monday 6 June.
