Minister Colle Emphasizes Dr. King's Message with Students TORONTO, Jan. 15 - Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, Mike Colle honoured the life and work of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., today at an event with students from Annette Street Public School. "As Canada's most diverse province, we can learn many lessons from this truly remarkable man," said Minister Colle. "Dr. King's legacy - the gift he left for us - is to celebrate and live values such as equality, acceptance and justice." Dr. King represents to millions a beacon of good citizenship. He championed peaceful protest in the pursuit of a world without injustice, where everyone is equal and differences are celebrated.
