Media Advisory - A Photo Opportunity - Lieutenant Governor's "Doors Open"

TORONTO, May 26 /CNW/ - The Hon. James K. Bartleman invites members of the public to visit the historic Lieutenant Governor's Suite at Queen's Park during "Doors Open Toronto," Saturday and Sunday May 26-27 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Guided tours will begin from the main doors of the Legislative Building every 15 minutes. A visit to the Suite will include:
The Music Room, with commissioned portraits of previous Lieutenant
Governors
The Lounge, with paintings from the Government of Ontario Art Collection
The Drawing Room and Dining Room, with "Summer of Hope," an exhibition of
photographs of the Lieutenant Governor's Aboriginal Literacy Summer Camps
by PhotoSensitive, a collective of photojournalists from the major
Toronto media.
In these rooms, the Lieutenant Governor receives Royalty, Heads of State and diplomatic representatives, and hosts receptions and dinners attended by Ontarians of all backgrounds.
