10th Anniversary of Apprenticeship Training Awards

Ontario Government Committed to Skilled Trades

Ministry of Colleges and Universities

Ontario is seeking nominations for exceptional employers from around the province who are training apprentices to work in the skilled trades.

Nominations are now open for the 10th annual Minister's Awards for Apprenticeship Training, which recognize employers who support Ontario's apprenticeship system by demonstrating leadership in training and promoting careers in the skilled trades.

Nominations are open until July 29, 2013.

Building a strong apprenticeship system and getting more people working in the skilled trades is part of the Ontario government's plan to boost the economy and build a more prosperous society.
