Province Supporting High Quality Education for Nipissing Students
Ontario Investing in Facility Upgrades at Nipissing University
Ontario is investing in facility upgrades at Nipissing University, so that students can continue to receive high quality education in safe and comfortable facilities.
The investment from the province and the federal government will allow Nipissing University to renovate and replace heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and roofing components, saving energy and creating an improved, more comfortable working environment. Construction is planned to start in May 2017.
Ontario is making the largest investment in public infrastructure in the province's history -- about $160 billion over 12 years, which is supporting 110,000 jobs every year across the province, with projects such as hospitals, schools, roads, bridges and transit. Since 2015, the province has announced support for more than 475 projects that will keep people and goods moving, connect communities and improve quality of life.
