New Judge Appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice

Ontario has appointed a new judge to the Ontario Court of Justice, effective April 13, 2016.

Justice Stephen Edwin James Paull was called to the bar in 2000. For the past 13 years, he has practiced family and civil law as a sole practitioner in Kitchener. Prior to that, Justice Paull worked as an associate lawyer at the firm of Dueck, Sauer, Jutzi and Noll, and has been a member of the Office of the Children's Lawyer Legal Panel, representing children in custody and child protection cases for the past 14 years.

Justice Paull is an advice counsel at Carizon Family and Community Services in Kitchener, where he provides legal advice to clients involved with the Family Violence Project of Waterloo Region. Justice Paull also volunteers his time with the Elder Abuse Response Team at Carizon Family and Community Services.

Chief Justice Lise Maisonneuve has assigned Justice Paull to preside in Woodstock.
