New Judges Appointed to the Ontario Court of Justice
Ontario has appointed two new judges to the Ontario Court of Justice, effective October 18, 2017.
Justice Jennifer Broderick was called to the bar in 2001. She was most recently the Crown attorney, and previously an assistant Crown attorney, for the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County. Justice Broderick is a volunteer member of the fundraising group 100 Women Who Care - Kawartha Lakes.
Chief Justice Lise Maisonneuve has assigned Justice Broderick to preside in Peterborough.
Justice Alison Wheeler was called to the bar in 1994. She was most recently a Crown counsel at the Crown Law Office - Criminal. Prior to this, she was an associate at Greenspan Partners. Justice Wheeler is a volunteer at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Chief Justice Lise Maisonneuve has assigned Justice Wheeler to preside in Kingston.
