Ontario Appoints New Chair of Human Rights Legal Support Centre
Ontario has appointed Ms. Ena Chadha as the new Chair of the Human Rights Legal Support Centre.
Ms. Chadha is a practicing human rights lawyer with more than 25 years' experience. Before her appointment, Ms. Chadha served as a researcher for Osgoode Hall Law School and was a member of the adjunct faculty of Schulich School of Business, specializing in MBA-level courses on negotiations, power relationships and politics.
Ms. Chadha was previously a vice-chair for the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and director of litigation at ARCH Disability Law Centre.
The Human Rights Legal Support Centre is an independent agency funded by the Ontario government through the Ministry of the Attorney General. The centre advances equality and protects human rights by providing a range of accessible and high-quality legal and support services to those who have experienced discrimination contrary to Ontario's human rights laws.
