Biography: Grant Jameson
Grant Jameson, of Ottawa, has served as a lawyer, corporate director, community leader, public speaker, and is a dedicated supporter of human rights and the arts.
He is a former Senior Partner and Ottawa Managing Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright, a global law firm, having practiced law from 1976 until 2016. Mr. Jameson's practice focused on corporate/ commercial matters, project financing, private mergers and acquisitions transactions, corporate governance and not-for-profit and charitable organizations.
Mr. Jameson completed an LLB at the University of Ottawa and B.A. (Hons.) at Carleton University and has been a lecturer and instructor for the University of Ottawa Law School.
He has also served in varied capacities with a number of volunteer organizations, including the Canadian Red Cross, the Canadian Club of Ottawa, the Ontario March of Dimes, the RCMP Foundation, the Ottawa Chamber Music Society, the Ottawa Arts Court Foundation, the AIDS Committee of Ottawa and the EGALE Human Rights Trust.
