Ontario to Commemorate Remembrance Day

Premier Kathleen Wynne will host Ontario's official Queen's Park Remembrance Day ceremony to honour the men and women who have served and continue to serve Canada in times of war, conflict and peace.

The Ceremony of Remembrance will be open to the public.

Date: November 11, 2017

Time: 10:45 a.m. promptly - rain or shine


Ontario Veterans' Memorial, front lawn of the Legislative Building
Queen's Park, Toronto

Media Details:

Parking - Southeast driveway. There will be two designated media sections near the Ontario Veterans' Memorial. Media may not cross through the ceremony to move between sections. Feeds provided.

Road Closures:

The following road closures will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. on November 11th. 

  • Queen's Park Crescent East from College Street North to Wellesley Street West.
  • Queen's Park Crescent West from Hoskin Avenue South to College Street.
  • Grosvenor Street from Queen's Park Crescent East to Surrey Place.
  • Wellesley Street West from Queen's Park Crescent East to Queen's Park Crescent West.
