Inquest Date into the Death of Massimiliano Glognoli Announced

Dr. William J. Lucas, Regional Supervising Coroner for West Region, Central West Office, today announced that a date has been scheduled for the inquest into the death of Massimiliano Glognoli.

Mr. Glognoli, 39, died on Nov. 3, 2014, during the course of his employment at a construction site in Peel Region. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.

The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Glognoli's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.

The inquest is expected to last three days and to hear from eight witnesses.

The inquest will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Provincial Offences Courthouse, 2nd Floor, 5 Ray Lawson Blvd., Brampton.

Dr. Shane Teper will preside as inquest coroner and Colin Henderson will be counsel to the coroner.
