New Date for Inquest into the Death of Bradley Chapman Announced
Dr. Roger Skinner, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Toronto West Office, today announced that a new date for the inquest into the death of Bradley Chapman has been scheduled.
Mr. Chapman, 43, was a homeless man who died in hospital on Aug. 26, 2015, after being found unresponsive on a city street.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. Chapman's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest is expected to last 12 days and hear from approximately 23 witnesses.
The inquest will now begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at the Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex, Court Room A, 25 Morton Shulman Ave., Toronto.
Dr. David Eden will preside as inquest coroner. Prabhu Rajan and Troy Harrison will be counsel to the coroner.
