Inquest Date into the Death of Bradley Wright Announced

Dr. Paul Dungey, Regional Supervising Coroner for East Region, Kingston Office, announced today that a date has been scheduled for the inquest into the death of Bradley Wright.

Mr. Wright, 55, died on April 2, 2018, from injuries sustained while working at a construction site. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.  

The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Wright's death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.

The inquest is expected to last two days and hear from four witnesses.

The inquest will start at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2020, at the Quinte Courthouse, 15 Bridge St. W., Belleville. Dr. Steven Bodley will preside as inquest coroner and Vicky Bae will be counsel to the coroner.
