Helping At-Risk Youth Gain Employment Skills

On behalf of Tracy MacCharles, Minister of Children and Youth Services, MPP John Fraser (Ottawa South) will mark the official opening of the Tamarack Trades Training Centre at the William E. Hay Centre. Media is invited to tour the facility.

Please Note: All attendees are required to pass through a security check during a tour of any Ontario youth justice facility. This is to protect the privacy and confidentiality of young persons in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Therefore, photography will only be permitted in designated areas and must not capture any youth centre security features. The only staff members that may be photographed are designated spokespersons. No young persons in the facility may be photographed, videotaped, audiotaped, interviewed or identified in any way.

Media is asked to pre-register for the tour in advance of arrival, so as to confirm numbers for the tour.
