Ontario Helps Ancaster Company Create 50 New Jobs

New Ontario Government Supporting Clean Water Technologies

Ontario is helping Anderson Water Systems, Inc., a manufacturer specializing in industrial water treatment systems, create 50 jobs at its new production facility in Ancaster, while retaining 70 more in the region.

With support from the province, Anderson Water Systems, a subsidiary of Degrémont Technologies, has established a global technical competence centre for ion exchange. The new, modern centre will be the design and manufacturing hub for the Degrémont ion exchange system which is used to soften and treat water.

The centre will also provide support for sales teams around the world and keep staff apprised of the latest technological and R&D developments to ensure global competitiveness.

Providing the right climate to attract investment, create jobs and grow the economy is part of the new Ontario government's plan to build a prosperous and fair province for all Ontarians.
