  • Lindsay Area Community Heroes To Receive Recognition

    The Lindsay Ontario Volunteer Service Award ceremonies will recognize Lindsay and surrounding area heroes: its volunteers.

    The ceremonies are part of the 46 taking place across the province between March and June in which approximately 9,000 Ontario volunteers are being recognized by the Ontario government.

    The Honourable Michael Chan, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration will bring greetings.

    Local MPPs are invited to attend the ceremony and to bring greetings.

    NOTE: Streetcar will be located at North East Corner of Richmond St. E. and Victoria St. for boarding. Following press conference media can depart at this same location, or anywhere along the route when it is safe to do so. Streetcar will continue to run along Queen from Church to Bathurst until 3:30 p.m. Streetcar will not be open to public at this time.
