  • Ontario Government Changes News Delivery

    Beginning today, Ontario will distribute news using its online News on Demand service. The government will no longer use Canada NewsWire to distribute news releases and media advisories. 
    News on Demand is an e-mail subscription service that provides reporters, editors and newsroom managers with news releases delivered directly to their inboxes.  
    New technology allows the province to manage news release distribution more efficiently in-house, enhancing service to the media and saving taxpayers up to $400,000 a year. To subscribe, visit
