making progress towards ensuring the education system is more equitable and
inclusive for all students and their families, by providing training to
trustees and supporting parental engagement from Indigenous and racially or
ethnically diverse communities.
Premier to Attend National Governors Association Winter Meeting
Following productive meetings in the U.S. earlier this month, Premier Kathleen Wynne will return to Washington, D.C., tomorrow to continue forging connections with U.S. partners and advocating for Ontario workers and businesses at the National Governors Association (NGA) Winter Meeting.
The Toronto Ontario Volunteer Service Award ceremonies will recognize Toronto and surrounding area heroes: its volunteers.
The ceremonies are part of the 46 taking place across the province between March and June in which approximately 9,000 Ontario volunteers are being recognized by the Ontario government.
The Honourable Michael Chan, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration will bring greetings at the June 16 and June 18 ceremonies. Khalil Ramal, Parliamentary Assistant to Ontario Minister of Citizenship and Immigration will bring greetings at the June 17 ceremony.
Local MPPs are invited to attend the ceremony and to bring greetings.

Michael Brown, MPP for Algoma-Manitoulin will announce
regional winners of the Premier's Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence. Awards will be presented to recipients from
the communities of Evansville, Fort Frances, Iron Bridge, Massey and Worthington.
