Municipality of Whitestone Receives Flood Damage Assistance

Ontario Funding Local Recovery Efforts

Ontario is providing up to $178,000 to support flood recovery efforts in the Municipality of Whitestone. 

Funding provided through the Ontario Disaster Relief Assistance Program will help the municipality rebuild vital road infrastructure damaged as a result of flooding during a severe storm on November 25, 2014.

The province will continue to work with the municipality to assess the full extent of flood damage and determine all eligible costs.
