Promoting The North's Mineral Industry

McGuinty Government Leads Ontario Delegation At International Mining Show

Ten companies from Northern Ontario will be traveling to Chile to take part in Expomin, a biennial mining-related trade show.

At the Ontario Exhibit, housed in the Canadian pavilion, the companies will promote their products and services at one of the most important mining-related trade shows in the world. 
The province is organizing the Ontario Exhibit at the show, which features close to a thousand exhibitors from 25 countries showcasing some 3000 brands related to the mining industry.
Expomin, takes place April 15 to 18 in Santiago, Chile.

  • Expomin is the largest mining-related trade and investment event in South America.
  • Ontario’s presence in the Chilean mining sector is significant as a result of direct investment in mining operations and due to the high demand for equipment and services.
