Young Entrepreneur Adding Glamour To Timmins

McGuinty Government Funds Local Aesthetics Business

Ontario is supporting a young entrepreneur in her efforts to open a beauty treatment/massage therapy shop in Timmins.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is contributing $23,800 to help establish Perfect Nails and More.  The funds will go towards purchasing the furniture and equipment. Funding is provided through the NOHFC's Young Entrepreneur Program.

  • To date, the Young Entrepreneur Program has assisted 168 young entrepreneurs in the North, and provided over $3.7 million in funding.
  • Timmins is country-music superstar Shania Twain’s hometown, and has an events center named after her which was partially funded by the NOHFC.
