Ontario Backs Young Chiropractor In Thunder Bay

McGuinty Government Helps Young Entrepreneur Launch New Business

A young entrepreneur in Thunder Bay has established her own chiropractic clinic with the help of the Ontario government.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is providing $25,000 through its Young Entrepreneur Program to help launch the Westfort Wellness Clinic. Funding will be used to purchase necessary equipment and machinery.

  • To date, the Young Entrepreneur Program has invested over $3.9 million in more than 175 projects in the North.
  • More than four million Canadians visit a chiropractor each year to help alleviate back, neck and joint pain, improve posture and to rehabilitate chronic or reoccurring injuries.
