New Wedding Service Opens In Kapuskasing

McGuinty Government Helps Young Northern Entrepreneur Make Saying “I Do” Easier

A young entrepreneur in Kapuskasing is opening her own wedding planning business with the support of the Ontario government.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) has approved funding of $24,395 through its Young Entrepreneur Program to help launch Forever Yours. Funding will be used to purchase equipment, furniture and support other start-up costs.

Forever Yours will offer a full range of wedding services and coordination, from the planning stages right up to the wedding ceremony and reception.

  • To date, the Young Entrepreneur Program has provided more than $4.1 million to support 182 youth business start-ups in Northern Ontario.
  • According to the Small Business Enterprise Centre it is important to do research, have a comprehensive business plan and gather valid data before launching a business.
