Industrial Park Development Underway In Harley

McGuinty Government Funds Traffic Study

The Township of Harley is preparing for the establishment of new businesses.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is providing $7,000 to complete a traffic impact study for an industrial park project.  The study will determine the number of lots that can be accommodated at a new industrial park proposed for the intersection of Highway 11 and Development Road.

  • As of 2007, the Township of Harley’s population is 551.
  • For several years, logging was a mainstay in the township’s economic growth. It has since been overtaken by the farming industry.
