McGuinty Government Invests In Venture By Young Entrepreneur
A young entrepreneur has established her own chiropractic clinic with the help of the Ontario government.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) has approved funding of $25,000 for the launch of the Caverly Chiropractic Health Centre. Funding will be used to purchase necessary equipment and machinery for the centre.
- Chiropractic is a health care profession that emphasizes diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine.
- Funding is provided through the NOHFC’s Young Entrepreneur Program, which provides assistance to northern residents, aged 18 to 29, to start their own for-profit business in the North.
“By helping young northerners with the start-up of new businesses, we are facilitating their transition from education and training to become the working professionals of tomorrow.”
