Northern Firm Introduces New Human Resources Management Program
McGuinty Government Supports Emerging Technologies in Northern Communities
A Timmins firm is marketing a new human resources management program targeting small business and in the process creating up to six new jobs.
With funding assistance from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), consulting firm Clearlogic is developing a web based application designed to help businesses with fewer than 200 employees manage important data such as payroll, attendance, employment history, performance appraisals and certificate training.
This initiative is part of the Open Ontario plan to provide every modern advantage possible to our businesses and thereby maintain a globally competitive economy.
- The NOHFC is providing $75,000 to this project under its Emerging Technology Program.
- Clearlogic is a full service consulting firm specializing in strategic and economic development, feasibility studies, telecommunications, project management and facilitation.
“I am pleased to see that a northern business is developing new technology that will help other northern businesses. I look forward to seeing the future success of the program.”
