Today, Parliamentary Assistant Ross Romano announced an investment of more than $1.3 million in 46 Northern Ontario Internship Program positions. Investments include:

Sault Ste Marie

  • Algoma University is receiving $31,500 for an intern who will assess the impact of migration on interprovincial and international trade in Canada, $27,642 for an avian social behaviour intern and $31,500 for a research assistant intern.
  • Centre for Social Justice and Good Works is receiving $26,325 for a community development intern.
  • City of Sault Ste. Marie is receiving $31,500 for a recreation facilitator intern.
  • Community Living Algoma is receiving $31,500 for a communications intern.
