Unionville - Toogood Pond: Saturday, July 5, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • In partnership with the Town of Markham, Knights of Columbus-St. Justin Martyr Council, Hawgtown Bassmasters, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Directions:  This event will be held in the pavilion area off Carleton Road, just north of Highway 7 and west of Main Street in Unionville.

Pickering - Progress Park at Frenchman's Bay off Front Street: Saturday, July 5, 10 a.m. -1 p.m.

  • In partnership with the Pickering Rod and Gun Club, Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters-Zone G, City of Pickering, Muskies Canada, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Directions:  Take Brock Road; exit south off Highway 401. Turn right onto Bayly; take Liverpool Road south to Commerce Street; turn right (west) to Front Street; turn left (south) to Progress Park entrance.

Meadowvale - Lake Aquitaine Park: Saturday, July 5, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • In partnership with the Credit Valley Conservation Authority, Izaak Walton Fly Fishing Club, City of Mississauga, Mississauga Bassmasters, and the Ministry of Natural Resources

Directions:  From Highway 401, take Winston Churchill Boulevard down to Derry Road, over to Aquitaine Avenue.  Look for Aquitaine Park.

Toronto - Grenadier Pond in High Park: Saturday, July 5, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • In partnership with the Toronto Region Conservation Authority, City of Toronto, Toronto Sportsmen Show, Toronto Police Service, Kids Cops and Canadian Tire, High Park Rotary Club, the Learning Enrichment Foundation, Future Watch, Grenadier Restaurant, and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Aurora District.

Directions: Located at 1873 Bloor Street West.  Take the TTC to High Park Station and walk south from the station to enter park.  Take West Road or Colborne Lodge Drive to Grenadier Restaurant and walk down hill to pond.

Toronto - The Toronto Islands: Sunday, July 6, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • In partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, City of Toronto, Ontario Chinese Anglers Association, Toronto Sportsmen's Show, Shimano Canada, Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Future Watch and the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Directions:  Take the ferry to Centre Island and then proceed to the Boathouse.

Newmarket - Fairy Lake: Sunday, July 6, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • In partnership with the Newmarket Optimists Club, Aurora Bassmasters, Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, Kids, Cops & Canadian Tire, and the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Directions:  Fairy Lake is located in Wesley Brooks Park, off Eagle Street just east of Main Street.

Pefferlaw - Pefferlaw River: Saturday, July 6, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • In partnership with the Peninsula Resort, Pefferlaw River Anglers Association, Town of Georgina, Sutton Home Hardware, "Dan The Bird Man", Canadian National Sportsmen's Shows, Bass Pro Shops, Iceguidez.com, Maurice Sporting Goods, Canadian Tire Corporation, ProfishntAnglingServices.com, Canadian Pro Carpet, Georgina Rent-All, Dryicemachines & Wilcraft, Canadian Ice Fishing Championship, York Regional Police/OPP Marine Unit, Casey's Fish Huts/Port Bolster Inn, Randy's Ice Huts, Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters Invasive Species Unit, York Environmental Stewardship, and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Aurora District

Directions:  The event takes place on the Pefferlaw River at the mouth of Lake Simcoe.  Follow Highway 48 north to Holmes Point Rd (just before the river and traffic lights on Hwy 48). Turn left (north) and follow signs to Peninsula Resort.
