Fish for Free During Family Fishing Week!

Ontario Encourages Families to Explore the Great Outdoors

Ontarians can fish without buying a licence during Family Fishing Week from July 4-12. People of all ages can enjoy one of Canada's favourite outdoor activities in a fun and affordable way.

There are many family fishing events in towns and provincial parks across Ontario:

More than 1.3 million licensed anglers participate in recreational fisheries and contribute approximately $2.5 billion to the Ontario economy each year.
