Bill Morneau: Special Advisor - BPS Pension Efficiencies
Bill Morneau is Executive Chairman of Morneau Shepell. Established in 1966, Morneau Shepell is the largest Canadian firm providing human resource consulting and outsourcing services. Under Bill's leadership, the firm has grown from 150 to 2,500 employees, and went public in 2005 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Bill is Chair of the Board of Directors at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, and Chair of the Board of Directors at the C.D. Howe Institute. He is also on the boards of AGF Management Ltd., AGF Trust Company, the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation, The Learning Partnership, the London School of Economics North American Advisory Committee, and the Canadian INSEAD Foundation. He is Chair of the Compensation Committee of the AGF Board. He is past Chair of the Board of Directors of Covenant House, and a previous board member of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation, the Canadian Opera Company, the Toronto Zoo Foundation, and ShareLife. In 2002, he was named as one of Canada's "Top 40 Under 40".
Bill holds a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, an M.Sc. (Econ.) from the London School of Economics, and an M.B.A. from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He lives and works in Toronto, Ontario.
