- A fine of $444,250 for possession of unmarked fine-cut tobacco for the purpose of sale. In addition, the court imposed a 25 per cent victim fine surcharge as required under the Provincial Offences Act.
- A suspended sentence for possession of unmarked fine-cut tobacco.
Background: On December 20, 2016, officers from the Cornwall Regional Task Force searched a vehicle and discovered 3,085 kilograms of unmarked fine-cut tobacco. All tobacco products were seized and forfeited.
