Date of Convictions: May 31, 2019, at the Burlington Provincial Offences Court

Penalties Imposed: 30 days in jail and a two-year probation order

Background: On February 17, 2018, Ontario Provincial Police officers searched a vehicle and discovered 144,000 unmarked cigarettes. The tobacco products were seized and forfeited.
