UPDATED: Doug Ford and New Government to be Sworn-in by Lieutenant Governor

Premier-Designate Doug Ford will be sworn-in as Ontario's 26th Premier, alongside the new Executive Council, by the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

The event will be live-streamed on the Premier's official YouTube channel and on the Premier's website.

Instructions for media on site:

  • A camera riser will be available for broadcast media to set up outdoors at 9:30 am
  • Formal media accreditation is required for the indoor component of the ceremony. Non-accredited media must obtain accreditation by reporting to Room 149 in the Legislative Assembly, between 12:00 to 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 28 and 8:00 to 9:15 am on Friday, June 29
  • Queen's Park Press Gallery accreditation is not required for the outdoor component of the ceremony. Media are asked to register for the outdoor ceremony at media registration desks located on the east and west sidewalks
  • No parking available on site
