McGuinty Government Wraps Up Busy Fall Session

The fall session of the legislature ended today with Ontario moving ahead on green energy, student performance and tax reform to create jobs and make the province more competitive.

Bill 168 Occupational Health and Safety Amendment Act (Violence and Harassment in the Workplace), 2009
Helps protect Ontarians from workplace violence and requires employers to develop workplace violence and workplace harassment policies and programs.

Modernizes the Mining Act to reflect Ontarians' values while promoting a strong, competitive mineral industry in the province.
